How to Leave a Review for the Venue?

Browse through the venues on the "Venues" or "Recommendations" tabs in the Ociety app, and select the venue you'd like to leave a review for.

Open the venue profile, and click on "Leave a Review" button:


The Ociety review consists of 5 simple steps with different questions. Most of the questions are optional, so you can always skip them if you want to. The first step of the review includes questions on "Overall Rating", "Vibe" (answering this question helps to improve recommendations), and "Noise Level":

Once you're done with the questions, click on "Next Step" to proceed to the next questions.

On the second step, you can select the tags which describe the venue atmosphere the best:


The third step suggests rating the venue crowd, so you can select what applies the most:


On the fourth step, you may select the menu requirements (if there are any):


The last step includes a few questions that would also help the other users to know more about the venue. Scroll down the list to see all the questions, and if you're not sure what to reply or don't have a strong opinion on some of the questions - just simply put "N/A". In order to reply to the question, simply select "thumbs-up" or "thumbs-down". For example, "thumbs-up" means that the venue is good for dates, and "thumbs-down" means that it's not:



Once you finish with the questions, click on the "Submit" button to leave a review. You'll get a notification message confirming that the review was submitted successfully. In case you get the error message, please try again or reach out to our Support Team ([email protected]).

Also, you can always update your review at any point if you want to. In order to do that, simply go to the needed venue profile tab, and click on "Update the Review" button:


You can update any question on any step, so once you do that - do not forget to click on "Save Changes" button:


Once you save the changes, you'll see the following notification message(if everything was saved successfully):
