What to do if I had issues using a Deal?



There could be the following reasons:

No internet connection.
GPS is turned off.
The Ociety app does not have permission to GPS.
Wrong location.
Deal is expired.
An issue with the server.

Here's what could be done to fix the issue:

No internet connection → Make sure your device has internet access (Wi-Fi or cellular internet).


GPS is turned off → Please turn on GPS on your device.

The Ociety app does not have permission to GPS → Allow Ociety app access to this device’s location:


Wrong location → To redeem the deal, you need to be at the venue location.


Deal has expired → Each deal has an expiration time. If you aren't sure about the expiration date, please make sure to check the following field:



An issue with the server → We are so sorry for the inconvenience. We’ll fix it ASAP!
