Phone verification code issues during the claim process

There are a few possible reasons why you might not get the verification code:

1. Incorrect phone number.

As a solution, try to go back to the previous tab and edit the “Location Phone Number” field as on the screenshot below. Make sure you used the right number:

2. You’re using the landline phone number.

Some landline phone numbers might not receive the verification code, thus you may just simply skip the phone verification, and continue the claim process by uploading one of the suggested documents to confirm your business ownership.

To skip the phone verification, simply click on “Recall” button:

After that, select the “Click here to send the documents” button to proceed with the alternative claim process:

The system will open the “Confirm your ownership” tab with a list of suggested documents that you can choose from and upload:

Once you click on “Claim” the request will be successfully sent, and you’ll get notified when it’s approved.

3. Do not have access to the phone.

If you don’t have access to the phone at the moment, we’d recommend claiming the business using the alternative option described above (Point 2). Otherwise, you may either change the “Location Phone Number” (Point 1), or reach out to our Support team - [email protected].

4. The verification code is not correct, or you’re not receiving the call.

If you’re not getting the call or the code is not correct - please, double-check the phone number you input in the previous form. In case the phone number is correct, reach out to our Support team for assistance - [email protected].

5. The internal server error.

If you’ve encountered the internal server error, please share the details with our Support Team, [email protected]. They’ll double-check everything on our side, and share with you the next steps.
