How to Claim a Venue?

Open the list of Businesses
Find your business by name or address using the search field, and click on the “Claim the Venue” button:

|| In case you cannot find your business, you can submit a create request by clicking on "Create a new venue":

Fill in all the required information and submit the claim request.

| If you see the message: "Thank you, for claiming! Your request will be reviewed soon. Please wait for the confirmation email", it means everything was saved successfully.

The Ociety Admin will review your claim request, and once everything is approved, you'll get the email with credentials and next steps.

Open the list of Businesses.
Make sure that your business does not exist on the list. You can search your business by the name or address:

If there are no results found, select the “Create a New Venue” button.

In the “Create venue” popup window, fill in the fields with your info and proceed to the next page:
Fill in your business information:
Double-check the info and attach a file to confirm your business ownership (e.g. a utility bill with your name and the business address, or a valid driver’s license). Once you upload a file, click the “Validate” button.
Your request will be reviewed as quickly as possible. In the meantime, wait for a confirmation email. An Ociety admin will approve the new venue create request, and you will receive your credentials via email. With the credentials, you can log into the admin panel here: https://app.ociety.com/

How do I add Team Members to my Venue?

Log into your Ociety account: https://app.ociety.com/login
Click on "Profile" and select "Venue Team” tab.

On the "Venue Team" page, you'll see "Add User" button, which will allow you to add Waitlist and Deal Managers.

Enter the person's name, email address, and select the manager's role.

Once you add a Waitlist/Deal Manager, you should get a notification that a Venue Team member was added successfully.

The credentials will be sent to the person's email directly. You can always add/edit/delete the manager's role in the Venue Team tab.

Depending on your device, download the Ociety App from the Apple App Store or Play Market

After that, open the Ociety app on your device.
Enter your phone number and tap “Log in” or “Sign Up” button:

You will receive a verification code by SMS. If you don't receive the code, click "Tap to resend":
Enter the desired username, select age group, tap the “Continue” button. If you have a referral code, please enter it - you will get additional points.

There could be a few reasons why you can't sign in to the Ociety app:

No internet connection → Please, check your Wi-Fi or cell Internet connections.
SMS code is not received → If you didn’t receive SMS code, please tap on the red link “Tap to resend” (You will receive a new code during 30 seconds.):

In case you haven't received the code, please check your phone number and make sure you have cell phone service. If none of the options helped, please contact our Support Team at help@ociety.com.

You are trying to use a VoIP phone number to sign up → Unfortunately, VOIP phone numbers are not allowed to sign in. Please, use only the real phone number.
You have attempted too many times → If you signed in and logged out a few times, the app may be locked for 10 minutes. During sign-in, you can enter the wrong phone number and the code can be sent to the incorrect number. In this case, check to make sure you entered the correct phone number.
You are using a number not associated with your account.
